Many neat restaurants when you need to take a break. Arts, crafts and antiques are only some of the types of shops you will find. You will also find that most stores are accommodating to dogs (some stores you will have to carry Fido to be able to go into) and the ice cream store even sells Frosty Paws (ice cream for the pooch!).
Several interesting shops have popped up on Hwy 515 that have signs out for stained glass, antiques and rugs.
Murphy, Ten (about a 30-minute drive) has a great flea market on Saturdays. 515 North to Hwy 60. Take a left at light toward Mineral Bluff. Watch for Hwy 60 sign that also has the arrow pointing the direction to Murphy. When the road dead ends into 64/74, take a right and the flea market is on the right hand side (about 5 minutes down the road).
